Supra Launch LTS
OVERVIEW
At first impression, the Launch LTS seems like a wakeboarding boat. It's in Supra's Launch lineup, it has the tower with new swivel board racks, and it has splashy graphics. But this is actually a tournament ski boat in wakeboarder clothing.
The Launch LTS starts out as a Comp LTS before Supra adds the wakeboarding features, including the standard double ballast system. That means the running surface and the direct-drive handling are excellent for piloting through the slalom course. And because it's a Supra, the LTS has solid hand-laid fiberglass construction, plush seating and many stainless-steel components for a high-class vibe.
If you love the course but like to dabble in wakeboarding, or you need one boat for your family that will satisfy the hard-core skiers and pacify the kids begging to learn how to ride, the Launch LTS was made for you.
SKIING
Going into short line lengths in the slalom course on a wakeboarding boat? It's almost unheard of. But because this is, at its heart, Supra's top ski boat, the Launch LTS performs like a champ when you use the standard hydraulic wake plate to tweak the wakes to your liking.
WAKEBOARDING
These wakes can be a great learning platform for young riders to get into the sport. Behind the Launch LTS, they'll be able to work on their jumps and other maneuvers all the way to the intermediate level. Play with the double ballast and extra fat sacks to load up as much or as little as needed.
LOWDOWN
• The ski-specific Comp LTS turns into the Launch LTS when it's wrapped up in Supra's wakeboarding package.
• Adjusting the ballast and the wake plate can shape the swells for beginning to intermediate riders.
• Slalom course enthusiasts will love the expert-level ski performance.
• Interior versatility is built in thanks to double-up flip-up seat backs in the bow walk-through.
