OVERVIEW
For 2005, Supra joins the burgeoning market for V-drive family cruisers with the debut of the all-new Sunsport 24V. It's the biggest boat Supra has ever produced, with room for up to 16 passengers and a tremendous amount of gear.
But the great thing about the 24V is that it's not just bigger, it's better. Supra's designers have come up with some neat innovations such as a loveseat-style, two-passenger, rear-facing bench directly behind the captain's chair. The traditional rear bench is now as wide and comfortable as a sofa. There are new storage compartments under the driver's seat and in a riders' cubby, in addition to oversized storage capacity in the rear lockers.
Plus, the 24V has all the luxury appointments and reputable construction that Supra has built its name on. That reputation will get even better as this 24V hits the water.
SKIING
The Supra Sunsport 24V really caters to fun family outings on the water where you break out all the water toys. At faster speeds (30-32 mph) its wake size is diminished enough that low-key recreational skiing is worth a tug.
WAKEBOARDING
The Sunsport 24V rides on the same monster-wake creating hull as the Launch 24 SSV so you know you have big-air potential hiding in a family package. In this boat's stock setup (with-out the 2,000 pounds of optional Gravity III ballast) you'll get advanced-level wakes with really good shape. Adjust the standard hydraulic wake plate to your favorite setting and go.
LOWDOWN
• Supra goes bigger and better with the brand-new Sunsport 24V, the longest and widest V-drive in the company's lineup.
• For more punch out of the hole, consider the optional Indmar Vortec 8100 8.1L, 425 HP.
• Innovative seating behind driver's seat creates “living room” feel in the palatial wraparound lounge.
• Sun deck is huge, but it's still easy to get to the swim platform, thanks to the stepway.
