Tigé 24V
OVERVIEW
Tigé wants its customers to have options. And that's why you can wrap the 24V in any graphics package you want — Limited, Riders Edition, or the new West Coast Edition. With any choice you get a hard-core wakeboarding machine with family size and luxury comfort. It was one of our test team favorites.
This large vessel conquered rough water with the best of them, and its overall handling and performance really stood out for a 24-foot boat.
The luxury of the Tigé 24V extends to all the details. The new premium-grade 34-ounce marine upholstery is stylish and contemporary, and is available in platinum and champagne. Your feet will love the plush 40-ounce deluxe marine carpeting, removable in the bow area. And perfectly contoured bucket seats in the spacious open bow allow passengers to really enjoy the ride.
We couldn't with a clean conscience recommend this boat to you without a kick-butt stereo system, so we suggest you add on the Clarion marine CD audio, Sirius-compatible with the coaxial speakers, power amp and driver remote. No matter how you wrap this boat, it's a tough package to beat.
WAKEBOARDING
The 24V has become the boat to get from Tigé if you want the biggest, sweetest wake in the company's stable of hard-core wakeboarding machines. Monster wakes with perfect shape define its performance on the water. The ConvexV hull, TAPS2 and Tigé ballast system work in harmony to give intermediate to pro-level riders exactly what they're looking for — water ramps with excellent transitions to go huge. This boat is basically a living room on the water, so housing all your stoked friends and everyone's equipment has never been easier. The more people you load up for a day of sessioning, the less need for cumbersome ballast aboard. If wakeboarding defines your lifestyle, outfit this gem with the new West Coast Edition graphics and you'll be dialed with one of the best water tools the sport has to offer.
LOWDOWN
• It doesn't get any better than this. The wakeboarding and wake surfing wakes behind the 24V are truly world-class.
• Big-lake riding ability is extraordinary.
• One of the largest (long, deep, wide) water-sports-specific sport Vs in its class.
• Room, room and more room — big storage, lots of space to walk around, an abundance of cup holders, grab rails throughout.
• Considering the size of the boat and how many passengers you're apt to load in, we'd suggest upgrading the power plant to at least the Tige Vortec 5.7L 340 HP.
