MasterCraft X-Star 2006

Boat Review
This is a wakeboarder’s dream boat. MasterCraft has done so much right with this X-Star that it’s still ahead of the curve three years after its debut. Pro wakeboarders around the world rave about this hull and the wakes it crafts. The interior earns plenty of praise too for being luxurious and large, ideal for the wakeboard boating lifestyle. It’s very obvious why the MasterCraft X-Star is arguably the most talked-about wakeboarding boat ever.

Wakes
These wakes are amazing with factory ballast, but call us greedy when we want to load up even more weight to produce Pro Tour-level wakes with perfect shape. We’re talking ideal steepness, progressive transitions and long landing zones that blow us away.

Handling
The single V-hull holds the line you want, whether in the open water or knifing through a double-up. For a 22-foot V-drive, responsiveness is good too, and the standard MasterCraft Cruise keeps speed consistent.

Comfort
Lounging in the MasterCraft X-Star is such a pleasure, not just because of the space but because of the premium appointments, like the carbon-fiber dash, leather-wrapped steering wheel and billet accents. Everything about this wakeboard boat is beautiful.
