Moomba Mobius LSV 2006

BOAT REVIEW
Moomba’s wallet-friendly wakeboarding V-drive, the Mobius LSV, gets a face lift for 2006. A little more length (up to 21’6″ from last year’s 20’8″) and an improved hull, which features a drop-keel design, provide wakes that are near pro level in size and almost perfect in shape with only factory ballast. With seating for up to 13 passengers and a price tag below $35,000, it’s a complete package.

WAKES
Our test team compliments Moomba engineers for making the Mobius LSV an even better wakeboarding machine in ’06. Our testers enjoyed long, progressive transitions that flowed to a solid peak for big-air boots.

COMFORT
Passengers will enjoy the spacious wraparound lounge seating and convertible rear seat. There’s also plenty of storage for your boards, including a rack on the tower, as well as a built-in ice chest. The price kicks this modest interior comfort up a few notches.

PERFORMANCE
We’ve always been impressed by the wakes behind the Mobius LSV, but this year we liked them even better. The factory ballast allowed big, rampy wakes, with smooth lips to keep the board from plowing through.
