Overview
The all-new D215 puts everything we love about Sanger’s V215 into a direct-drive package. The result is a wakeboard boat with remarkable handling, rock-solid tracking and impressive crossover performance. The Wake Series option loads this 22-footer with wakeboarding essentials from ballast to graphics. The spacious interior, with plenty of seating and impressive walk-around space, will suit riders and families alike.
Wakes
This multisport performer adequately entertains ski sets as well as wakeboard sessions. The Wake Series ballast system offers 500 pounds of wake-building weight, which is plenty for beginner to intermediate riders, but you’ll need some extra weight to build advanced swells.
Handling
Driving the D215 is like driving any Sanger. It’s predictable, incredibly solid, and it runs like a well-put-together boat. A real standout in the D215′s performance is the ease with which its radius V-bottom mows through double-ups and chop.
Comfort
The use of space on board this 22-foot direct-drive really impressed our testers. The interior features a unique seating design and plenty of storage. There’s a huge ice chest under the observer’s seat, as well as a side gunwale compartment for dry storage.
