Overview
As the most popular boat in the Ski Supreme lineup, the V208 Sky has a sizable reputation to live up to, so it’s a good thing it delivers every time we test it. Our test boat was dressed in a beautiful yellow gelcoat, and the fit and finish were right on the money. Even though a 95-inch beam isn’t huge by today’s standards, the V208 affords plenty of space to stretch out in a wakeboard-oriented 20-footer. And thanks to the adjustable wake plate, you’ll have customizable wakes with the flip of a switch.
Wakes
Out of the box, the V208 serves up sweet wakes that can go from peaky to mellow by adjusting the trim tab. The landing zone is nice and long, and riders of all abilities will benefit from these wakes.
Handling
We’re more than satisfied with the tracking and responsiveness of the V208. The boat plowed through double-ups without issue, and its smooth, consistent turns when weighted are outstanding.
Comfort
The interior of the V208 is remarkably spacious, with comfortable reclined seating and large storage compartments. A form-fitting adjustable driver’s seat with flip-up bolster offers impressive visibility, and the captain gets a beautiful hand-stitched dash with 5-inch Faria gauges.
