Overview
The Launch 21 was so popular, Supra decided to introduce a V-drive version last year for its hard-core wakeboarding customers. In 2006, the deal is even sweeter, with killer performance thanks to standard Gravity III ballast and a hydraulic wake plate. Plus, interior upgrades like the billet steering wheel and gunmetal windshield make sure the Launch 21 V is the most tricked-out wakeboarding powerhouse on the lake.
Wakes
The 21 V is built for wakeboarders, and even with factory ballast, this boat is capable of producing intermediate to advanced wakes. While the wake shape is steeper than you’d expect, you can tweak the transition and peak with the trim tab on the hydraulic wake plate. We recommend shortening the line to 60-65 feet for the best performance.
Handling
The Launch 21V boasts the solid handling and maneuverability of a direct-drive with the wake-producing performance of a V-drive. Plus, your friends will love the 21 V’s consistent tow provided by the standard EZ Cruise.
Comfort
When you’re not enjoying its wakes, you can relax in the 21V’s wraparound lounge, made possible by the rear-engine configuration. Supra didn’t forget the details either, adding small touches such as stainless-steel accents, recessed storage lighting and blackwood dash.
