BOAT REVIEW
Calabria's Cal Air Pro V2 is a lesson in packing punch into a smaller wakeboard boat. The smaller counterpart to Calabria's flagship wakeboarding model, this V-drive houses all the comfort- and performance-oriented appointments of its big brother in a manageable 20-foot-6-inch package. Equipped with the stainless-steel Cal Air tower, PureVert Wake System and full wraparound lounge, it leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to tearing it up on the water or relaxing on board. Buyers who are interested in a smaller wakeboard boat and like a customized look and feel should add the Calabria Pro V2 to their test-drive lists.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
When Calabria Boats designed the Pro V and its little brother the Pro V2, it understood the importance of weight distribution and its effect on balanced pulls and solid handling. That's why they positioned the fuel tanks forward and set the PureVert ballast tanks evenly across the hull to minimize bow rise and keep the wakeboard boat running level. It's a difference you'll feel when you're behind the wheel of the Calabria Pro V2, which slices through the water with confidence and control.

When you're behind the boat, you'll notice the solid pull, which is complemented by the Cal Air tower. Made out of true stainless steel–not just aluminum made to look like it–this sweeping tower stands up to any rider's tug. You'll also notice the rampy wake shape, perfect for beginning and intermediate moves. Advanced riders will probably want to upgrade the ballast capacity, but wakeboarders of every skill level will appreciate the PureVert's lightning-quick fill and empty times.
