PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
Even from its trailer, the Response LXi SE is special. The black and metallic silver customized gelcoat coordinates with the color-matched trailer for eye-popping style like we’ve never seen. But the real show begins when the LXi SE gets on the water and fires up its standard 400 hp Hammerhead engine and runs through the course like few boats can. The hole shot alone is a rush, in every sense of the word.
Like its brother, the Response LXi, this SE version features the new Cut Diamond hull, designed to command the flow of water. It has strategically placed strakes that displace less water for a wake that barely ripples that sunrise water. The hull didn’t need a redesign, but Malibu did it anyway. This boat isn’t just tournament-worthy; it’s capable of breaking world records–or at least your PB, whether you’re a 34 mph, 28-off skier or going into 41 off and beyond.
