Buyers looking to upgrade from the I/O market should check out Malibu’s Sunscape 21 LSV. At 21 feet 6 inches long and 98 inches wide, it packs runabout comfort into a manageable size, making it ideal for families who count space and versatility as top priorities. Returning standard features like stainless-steel cup holders and a removable table retain Malibu’s signature on-board comfort, and new features such as the 25th-anniversary-edition dash with customized steering wheel and throttle knob, as well as the cast-stainless-steel exterior emblems, give this wakeboard and ski boat even more of a luxurious styling edge for 2007.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
The Sunscape 21 LSV features the V25 Diamond hull, which is designed for versatile, family-friendly water-sports action. For the wakeboarders in the family, the boat can be optimized with the optional Power Wedge and 500-pound center ballast bag, which pumps up bigger, more defined wakes. At faster speeds, skiers will find a respectable wake for advanced recreational ski sets.
Thanks to the technology of deep Gorilla tracking fins, Malibu’s standard Precision Pro speed control, rack-and-pinion steering, and an adjustable rudder, the Sunscape 21 LSV is a pleasure to drive, and it operates with the smoothness of a Lexus sedan.
