BOAT REVIEW
Introduced last year, the SV2 is Svfara’s only V-drive. As such, it takes all the wakeboarding flair you’d expect from that configuration and combines it with Svfara’s signature sense of style, for a flagship wake model that only this company could produce. On board, it takes the social aspect of a wraparound main lounge to new heights by incorporating a wet bar with freshwater sink behind the driver’s seat. And the true walk-through transom makes it easy to get to the platform and gear up for the real fun behind this wakeboard boat. If you like Svfara’s style and you want a traditional V-drive wakeboard boat, this could be the model for you.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
With the solid reputation of its direct-drive cousin, the SV696, paving the way before it, the SV2 was poised to become a staple of the Svfara lineup from the beginning. It takes the wakeboarding skills of its predecessor and ups the ante with a V-drive-engine configuration. The result is a boat that can handle more weight so riders can fill the ballast tanks to their 1,390-pound capacity and practice their advanced moves on the steep wakes. You may notice more straight-up pop than the wakes behind the direct-drive version.

Another thing that will grab your attention right away is the solid handling. The rattle-free construction makes rides steady with little or no vibration, even through chop and double-ups. With a rider in tow, the tracking is on-the-line, and the steering remains responsive.
