BOAT REVIEW
Versatility, agility, trailerability and affordability are all at the forefront with this 20V. Much of that is due to its size–20 feet of water-sports machine that switches from wakeboarding to skiing as easily as pushing the button on the TAPS2 wake-plate control. From the outside, it looks like a nimble ski boat, but on the inside, the wraparound lounge, walk-through bow and sun pad over the V-drive engine are for hanging out, wakeboarding style. For families wanting versatility, the 20V should be on the wish list.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS
For having the shortest length in Tigé’s lineup, the 20V has a long résumé. It has towed the Tigé U.S. Open Wakeboard Championships and the IWSF World Wakeboard Championships. It sports the same hull as the direct-drive 20i, which has been approved by USA Water Ski to pull record tournaments. Those accomplishments translate into versatile performance with a do-anything ConvexV hull that works with the TAPS2 plate to create the right wake for whatever you want to do. At a lower setting, the wakes make runs through the slalom course very doable at the “average Joe” line lengths of 15 to 28 off. A higher setting increases the peaks to let wakeboarders launch wake to wake.
No matter the sport, the hole shot is impressive. The 340 hp engine upgrade roars to 36 mph in about 6.3 seconds. The 20V maintains much of its straight-line tracking and quick turning even with the use of the optional ballast tanks, which further boost the wake size for anyone if you want to train for the next U.S. Open.

It is safe to say that Mastercraft, Malibu, Sanger, Moomba, Supra, Avalance and others have nothing to worry about. Cheap Vinyl, lousy Vdrive and a host of other nits make this low end quality wise.
90 hours and Vdrive is shot.. Quality, fit and finish are all mediocure.
Learn how to drive your boat. 280 hours and mine still works great.
I agree with Danny … Mine has over 250 hours & still runs like new. I am a slalom skier that switches off to my son who is a wakeboarder. So Robert, go ahead & spend big bucks on those other boats … ignorance is bliss.
Tige Markets the heck out of its Convex V Hull and TapsII technology. Although you can trim the ride the TAPSII trim tab is just a trim tab which is nice to be abl to trim ride but the boat needs ballast if you wakeboard or surf. Slalom is recreational with the rooster tail. My older I/O had better all around ski wake.
It is a blast too drive with handling but nothing for passengers to hold on to. Bummer
