BOAT REVIEW

When it comes to Correct Craft’s Crossover series, the name says it all. These boats are designed to satisfy your whole family’s addiction to water sports. It’s a tall order, but the Crossover Nautique 211 Team Edition does a lot to fill it. Equipped with the Flight Control Tower and 730 pounds of ballast, this 20-foot, 9-inch V-drive clearly has the wakeboarding end of things covered. Plus, with the convenient transom walk-through, all that wake performance is a whole lot easy to get to.

HULL: At three inches shy of 21 feet, this compact hull makes this ride an agile performer. And the deep-V hull design gives the 211 laser tracking–even with a rider in tow–and the ability to slice through chop and double-ups without any jarring. Bottom line: If a nimble ride ranks as high as wakeboarding performance on your list of must-haves, this might be your next ride.

BALLAST: More than 700 pounds of water weight help sink the deep-V hull for beginner-to-intermediate-size wakes with long transitions, flat troughs and wide landing zones.

TOWER: The Flight Control Tower, which comes standard with the Team package, is as brawny as they come. Rattle in chop or a shudder through a double-up–don’t even think about it. The Flight Clips are an equally sturdy place for your boards.

WAKE SHAPER: Much of the 211′s versatility is owed to the Hydro-Gate, which lets you program the wake perfectly for anything from wakeboarding to wake surfing to tubing. And thanks to SportShift, all that wake-changing power is at your fingertips in the cockpit.
