While the new Crossover Nautique 236 was designed with the versatility to tow most any water sport (just check out the new pop-up pylon), it has plenty of wake-specific features. For starters, when it’s outfitted with the Team Edition upgrades, it can carry up to nine wakeboards and 920 pounds of ballast. But the folks at Correct Craft know that the wakeboarding lifestyle is about more than just riding. That’s why they gave the 236 room for 14 people and enough creature comforts to satisfy a debutant.
HULL: Here’s the first rule in Wake Building 101: The more water you displace the bigger your wake will be. One look at the Crossover 236′s brand-new, massive hull will tell you that this ride has a whole lot of huge wake potential. At 25 feet, 4.5 inches with the platform, the 236 is the largest boat in Correct Craft’s 2007 line, and its 100.5-inch beam is even bigger than that of the Air Nautique 226. Bottom line: Weight this bad boy right and you’ll have a beast of a wake on your hands. Class dismissed.
BALLAST: Thanks to the Team Package, you’ll enjoy three ballast tanks with enough room for almost a half-ton of water weight. Oh, and did we mention there’s space here for you and 13 of your nearest and dearest? Load up this huge hull with water and people and the sky’s the limit.
TOWER: The Flight Control Tower is the anchor of the 236 as a wakeboarding platform. Super-beefy and stylish, the clear-anodized tower is the ultimate in functional beauty.
