When Correct Craft introduced the Super Air Nautique 220 Team Edition to its line last year, it answered a lot of people’s wishes. Every inch of this 22-footer is useful and in use, from the built-in coolers hidden throughout the lounge to the storage net that snares wakeboards and vests on the sun pad–not to mention outstanding wake performance that will impress even the most discriminating riders.
HULL: Correct Craft has had more than 80 years to fine-tune its boatbuilding methods, and it shows on the water–whether you’re in the driver’s seat, behind the boat or just lounging in the bow. The hull designs and construction components work together for some of the most solid rides in the industry, and the 220 is no exception. This boat is at its best when the tanks are full, not only because of the wakes, but also because of its awesome tracking ability and nimble responsiveness.
BALLAST: The standard Team Edition ballast loads the boat down with 975 pounds of water weight, churning out huge wakes with nice progressions that build into well-defined peaks. Bonus: The Launch Control System is remarkably easy and quick to fill and drain.
TOWER: We expect a lot from Correct Craft towers–the company holds the wakeboard tower patent after all–and we weren’t disappointed by the Flight Control Tower. Solid and beefy, it’s as strong as they come, and its arching design affords passengers plenty of headroom.
WAKE SHAPER: Correct Craft knows only serious riders step up to the Team Edition. That’s why it made the Hydro-Gate with SportShift a standard feature on the 220 Team. The adjustable plate is easily controlled from the helm and delivers on-the-fly wake modifications. Perfect wakes here you come.

These progressive ramps will have you launching into the flats. The defined peaks are shaped to suit a number of riding styles, and the long landing zones supply a nice cushion for wake-to-wake moves.
