BOAT REVIEW
Correct Craft is seeing a lot of success with its Crossover boats, so it’s introducing a new size, the Crossover Nautique 226. As we’ve said about other Nautiques, this isn’t just a difference in centerline and beam dimensions, it’s a different wake and special interior. The most obvious change is the passenger bucket seat, which swivels 360 degrees, though it does eat up space usually reserved for storage. Behind that seat is a mini side bench with a cooler underneath, then one of the best transom walkovers around, with a step up from the lounge and a step down to the swim platform. We recommend outfitting the boat with the Team Edition for all the wakeboarding amenities to really maximize the crossover potential.
BEST FEATURES
Interior style
We like how the lines of that rear corner bench flow into the transom walkover and are echoed in the upholstery of the sun pad.
Zero-Off
This new cruise control is a worthy upgrade with its spot-on GPS accuracy and very simple usability.

WAKES
A boat this size generates recreational ski wakes for casual wake crossings, but the real star was the larger-than-average wakeboarding wakes. They had a nice shape that was mellower than other Correct Craft’s. It wasn’t as defined a peak, but there was still some meat there.
Overall: The wake was a perfect width for beginning and intermediate riders.
ACCELERATION
With 375 hp engine (343 hp standard), Acme 14.5×14.25 four-blade prop

HANDLING
Bow rise: 16-degree angle during typical acceleration. As with other Nautiques, we had good visibility through the windshield without need for a bolster.
Tracking: For this size of a V-drive, it tracked well.
Turns: The more established Correct Craft models turned sharper, especially to the left when weighted.
Maximum G-force crossing wake at 22 mph/30 mph: 1.58/1.04
Vibration: Solid and smooth with no rattles or creaks from the tower.
