With a name like the Ferrari-inspired “Enzo,” a boat has to look stylish. And the direct-drive Centurion Enzo SD220 ski boat lives up to the moniker with racy design features such as a sleek, sloped transom, flared bow contours, chromed-out stern vents and a swept-back Double Up tower. “Cool” was the most common comment on the Enzo's looks from our test team. We also enjoyed ample lounging real estate between sets thanks to its wide 8-foot 6-inch beam. Angled backrests and multilevel upholstery increased the comfort factor. And the “Bling Bling Billet Accessories” package, which comes standard, added to the style quotient.

TEST ANALYSIS
Wakes
We took the Enzo SD220 through its paces and found the ski wakes to be somewhat small but a little firm from 15 through 35 off. This beamy boat has a wide table and a noticeable rooster tail at 22 off. For a wide, beefy ski boat, it has an impressive intermediate slalom wake. Overall: Inviting ski wakes for the family.
Handling
Bow rise: 19.2 degrees during typical acceleration. Tracking: Pulling a skier was no problem, with easy counter-steering capabilities and respectable symmetry and balance. Turns: We felt minimal drift, even at higher speeds, and positive feel at slower speeds, with little noticeable water attachment.

With standard 330 hp engine and Acme 13×17.5 four-blade prop.
Vibration
Recorded with driver and passenger turning through a double-up at the sport-specific speed.
