Our advanced-level riders immediately witnessed the wake potential in the family-friendly price point Moomba Mobius LSV that comes stock with 400 pounds of factory ballast and a Smart Plate hydraulic wake shaper. And with the optional three-bag ballast system bringing the total to 1,200 pounds, there's plenty of challenge on tap. On board, passengers will enjoy the comfort offered by the generous and well-appointed lounge. And that good vibe will extend to the owners' checkbook, as well, when they discover a base price under $40,000.

Wakes
A wake-shaping hull like this deserves the optional 1,200 pounds of total factory ballast. Out of the box, the wakes were on the steep side, but there's tons of potential to tweak with the Smart Plate into a real beauty. Overall: Great overall wake for beginning to intermediate riders, with more ballast leading to quality advanced-level riding.
Handling
Bow rise: 21 degrees during typical acceleration. Tracking: The beefy tower affected the handing of this smaller boat, but it was still smooth through the double-up. Turns: Right from the pull-out, our testers enjoyed ample holding power, even through tight turns.

With standard 325 hp engine and OJ XMP 14.25×14 four-blade prop.
Vibration
Recorded with driver and passenger turning through a double-up at the sport-specific speed.
