BOAT REVIEW
The MasterCraft X-35 blends serious action with a touch of luxury for multisport families who have a taste for the finer things. Deluxe amenities not normally associated in ski or wakeboard boats are impressive, including an optional wet bar, refrigerator and hot shower. The deep-V hull smoothes choppy condition for an equally upscale ride, and there’s ample room to enjoy it all thanks to an ultra-wide 102-in beam – the maximum trailerable width – and expansive pickle-fork bow seating.

For 2009, buyers can select from two available floor plans — the standard with extra seating and an optional layout with a wet bar. With both, the wraparound lounge is expansive, and drivers will appreciate a cockpit that comes fully decked with the standard VDIG (Video Digital Gauge) control module.

BEHIND THE BOAT
The MasterCraft X-35’s wake starts out as a smooth transition that leads to a crisp, defined lip that boots wakeboarders high. The top third of the wake is more abrupt with the transition. A wake like this allows a broad spectrum of moves that caters to the advancing-intermediate level rider.
