BOAT REVIEW
As MB Sports’ flagship wakeboard boat, the F23 Tomcat is designed with hard-core performance in mind and crafted with small-shop attention to detail. For 2009, MB Sports surpassed their already high standards by redesigning the hull and relocating the underwater gear for improved wake shape consistency and upgraded surf wake. The gravity-filled, hard-tank ballast system — which tops out at 2,400 pounds and fills faster than any in the industry — is another solid selling point. Serious riders will find so many reasons to buy an MB Sports F23 Tomcat.
INSIDE THE BOAT
For 2009, the MB Sports F23 Tomcat’s dash moved 18 inches forward, creating even more room in the lounge and cockpit. Drivers will appreciate the low-profile dash with prominent gauge lineup, billet throttle knob and the 10-inch subwoofer located directly behind the swivel captain’s chair.
BEHIND THE BOAT
If the MB Sports Tomcat 23’s wakes were compared to a sandwich, it would have lots of meat. You get advanced-level wakes right out of the box with the 2,400-pound, quick-filling ballast tanks. The wakes are well-defined with crisp lips that offer excellent pop.
