Moomba Outback V 2009

BOAT REVIEW
All new for 2009, the Moomba Outback V is Moomba’s most economical V-drive. And while it’s easy on the wallet, this multi-sport performer delivers upscale looks with sleek, automotive-inspired lines that really shine in the bow area, thanks to stylish flared edges. The hull is deeper, offering more room throughout — and a bigger wake. At 20 feet in length, the V is a great choice for buyers with size restrictions on their local lake or for those that want a wakeboard and ski boat that fits into a standard garage.

INSIDE THE BOAT
Thanks to a thoughtful redesign, the Moomba Outback V pays special attention to the driver with large gauges and a new adjustable captain’s seat that boasts a more substantial bolster and improved ergonomics. Deeper freeboard, new for 2009, gives the lounge more room for everything — friends, storage, etc.

BEHIND THE BOAT
This crossover specialist is equally capable of fun wakeboarding and skiing sessions. No matter what your favorite pastime, the wakes are clean and symmetrical. With the optional three-bag factory ballast, our riders liked the wake best with a 65-foot line.
