Crossover Nautique 236 2009

BOAT REVIEW
For the growing water-sports family that has maxed out their current ski boat, the Crossover Nautique 236 offers more room for everyone and everything, along with quality multisport wakes that will please the entire clan no matter what their ride of choice. A capacity crowd of 16 can spread out and find their own personal space thanks to a versatile layout that boasts deep-freeboard safety and crowd-friendly features such as a rubberized transom walk-through and twin rear-facing seat backs.

INSIDE THE BOAT
Drivers get the best seat in the boat — an adjustable throne with lumbar support — that’s a nice complement to the cockpit’s new automotive-style helm, which can be outfitted with worry-free keyless ignition. Storage is noteworthy, as well, with 83 cubic feet total.

BEHIND THE BOAT
At skiing speeds, these wakes will feel soft to anyone used to an inboard/outboard or just interested in casual free skiing at slower speeds. Our test boat did not have ballast, but even without the extra weight the Crossover Nautique 236 sculpts shapely wakeboarding wakes with big landing zones, perfect for young riders. With the upgraded three-tank ballast system, this boat has legitimate air potential.
