BOAT REVIEW
As the official wakeboard boat of the Wake Games and WWA Wakeboard National Championships, the Super Air Nautique 230 needs no further qualifications for performance-minded buyers to know it’s a serious rider’s machine. For 2009, Nautiques’ wake flagship gets updated graphics, a redesigned helm and upgraded sound. Rider-friendly options such as the stainless FCS2 tower with swivel racks and ZeroOff GPS cruise complete the Super Air Nautique 230’s street cred, along with an innovative transom with a mini cooler, staging seat and trunk access cubby.
INSIDE THE BOAT
From the adjustable captain’s chair, drivers have quick access to soft-touch controls, ballast gauges and an ergonomic sweet spot that pairs the throttle and Hydro-Gate SportShift. While rider-friendly features like a transom walk-through and six aft-facing seats will keep the crew happy, too.
BEHIND THE BOAT
The Super Air Nautique 230 sculpts tournament-level wakes that are impressive on many levels. If its pro-level size doesn’t stoke you, its shape certainly will. The transitions are long and a solid lip ensures good pop off the top that welcomes your most challenging moves.
