Gekko Sports Revo 6.7 2009

BOAT REVIEW

Designed by aerospace engineers, the Gekko Revo 6.7’s radical styling will appeal to buyers who really want stand out on the lake. Gekko Boat’s premier wakeboard boat is loaded with distinct features — from the sweeping bowlines to the integrated transom — for a sleek, jet fighter vibe. Wakeboarders who like mellow ramps will appreciate the versatile wake and available 1,000 pounds of ramp-building ballast Value is this wakeboard boat’s strongest selling point, though, thanks to a host of standard features that ring up for less coin.

INSIDE THE BOAT

A wide 102-inch beam gives the Gekko Revo 6.7 lots of room to stretch out in the wraparound lounge and playpen-style bow. It’s the cockpit that really stands out, though, with a tilt wheel sporting polished metal accents and cool Faria gauges with lizard emblems.

BEHIND THE BOAT

This patented, CAD-designed hull creates a good multisport wake for skiers and riders alike. The factory ballast does its best to produce gentle, sloping wakes that weekend warrior types will absolutely love.  Open-water swervers can get their fix, too, because the Gekko Revo 6.7’s wakes are surprisingly soft for such a wide ski boat.
