Supra Launch 22V 2010

Ski Boat Review

The wake of a king-size wakeboard boat with the agility of a 22-footer is what Supra Boats promises in the Launch 22 V. And we have to say — it delivers. The magic starts with a proven hull design that creates pro-caliber wakes with its SmartPlate wake shaper. The new VISION LCD boat control system monitors the 1,450-pound, fast-filling ballast system, among many other features. A multitude of innovative seating options give everyone in the boat a clear view of the action, and with sleek styling and luxury amenities, it’s little surprise the Supra Launch 22 V is Supra Boats’ best-selling boat.

COMFORT

Comfort is king in the Supra Launch 22 V. Supra Boats gives customers the option to customize the plush seating arrangement, which can now be ordered with a full wraparound or optional love seat configuration. For the driver, a swivel captain’s chair is standard, along with a clean, ergonomically minded dash and throttle layout.

WAKE PERFORMANCE

Our test team was fully impressed with the wake performance behind the Supra Launch 22 V, which caters to many riding styles while still feeding high-end riders’ performance-craving appetites. The wake has good volume and smooth, predictable transitions with the stock ballast, and the SmartPlate wake shaper lets you tweak it to your liking.

STANDOUT

1. VISION control system: From the 6.5-inch LCD in-dash screen you can monitor and control all of the important features of your boat and even analyze your technique when hooked up to a video camera.
2. Double-up seating: Simply flip up the seat backs and up to six of your crew have a front-row view to your on-water antics.
3. Convenient storage: The whopping 121 cubic feet of storage throughout — including the spacious underseat cooler — can’t be beat.
