Supra Launch 24V Worlds Edition 2010

Ski Boat Review

As Supra Boats‘ top-of-the-line offering and the tow boat of the WWA Wakeboard World Championships, the Supra Launch 24 V Worlds Edition continues to impress us with its outstanding wake performance, stylish looks and luxury amenities — like the all-new VISION integrated boat control system — that will meet the demands of hard-core riders as much as a family of recreational enthusiasts. Supra Boats upgraded its audio power with its standard six-speaker Kicker system coupled with an LED four-speaker light bar and new spinner speaker cans, further adding to the appeal of this sweet wakeboard boat.

COMFORT

The Supra 24 V Worlds Edition underwent a serious upgrade to its interior. New, more resilient UV-resistant stitching and stain-resistant vinyl are utilized on all the upholstery. The driver gets a supportive captain’s chair that swivels, a low-profile dash and a new in-dash LCD screen that conveniently controls just about everything in the boat.

WAKE PERFORMANCE

This boat serves up one of the finest wakeboarding wakes we’ve seen. When the deep-V hull is weighted with 1,950 pounds of standard ballast, the sheer volume is outstanding, creating a platform for confident athletes to launch their moves well into the flats. Also, the wakes are smooth with a predictable transition that won’t miff rookies.

STANDOUTS

1. VISION system: The 6.5-inch, in-dash LCD screen features GPS mapping, Zero Off cruise control and controls for most of the boat’s functions.
2. Gravity III ballast system: This new pump fills and empties the standard 1,950 pounds of ballast unbelievably fast, which equals less down time.
3. Z-5 Cargo Rack: This super-innovative feature delivers shade to the passengers and doubles as board storage.
