Video: 2011 Sport Nautique 200

Watch the all-new 2011 Sport Nautique 200 in action. Nautique Boats provides proof of the Sport Nautique 200’s versatility with this video, which shows water skiing, wakeboarding and wakesurfing behind its new crossover ski boat and wakeboard boat.

The Sport Nautique 200 uses the same Optimal Surface Control hull technology as Nautique Boats’ three-event ski boat, the Ski Nautique 200, but in a V-drive configuration, making it a good fit for families who like to wakeboard and wakesurf in addition to water ski.

  1. I’d prefer to thank you for that efforts you’ve made in writing this article. I am hoping the same finest work from you in the future too. In reality your inventive writing skills has inspired me to begin my personal BlogEngine blog now.

Hallo. Thanks for your post, I learn a lot.

I'm from Poland and planning on learning ski jumping.

One of the things I've read on the internet is that (unless you're a five-year-old kid) you need to be somewhat proficient in downhill skiing before you learn ski jumping. "The Joy of Flight" by Mitch Kaplan suggests you have an intermediate level of skill before starting. I don't want to book a flight to the Northern Hemisphere just to find that I'm not good enough at skiing to go ski jumping!

Currently I know how to snow-plough, and can sometimes do Stem Christies or parallel turns but not always. I'll be going downhill skiing this coming Aussie winter (yes, we do have snow, including at the imaginatively named "Snowy Mountains" which includes Mount Kosciuszko), and would like to know which aspects of skiing I should most concentrate on.

What proficiencies do you need? Is it how to slow down after the jump, a sense of balance, remembering to bend your knees, or just being unafraid of fast speeds?
