McCormick's Ski School, in operation since 1956, is open year-round under the warm Florida sunshine. McCormick's has a complete program for skiers of all levels. You don't have to be a world champion to ski at McCormick's. Sixty percent of the people who attend the school are beginners. Thirty percent are intermediates and approximately 10 percent are title holders. Not everyone attains world championship ability, but everyone improves and has a good time.
Equipment
The school supplies all necessary skiing equipment. However, if a student has a ski he or she would rather use, we highly recommend to bring it along. If a skier is in need of a particular item, the school's pro shop carries a complete inventory of water ski equipment such as water skis, gloves, wetsuits, ropes, handles, bindings and more. Ski equipment selections are made based on an individual's weight, height, ability and age.
Items to Bring to Camp
Swimsuits, beach towels, bath towels, wash cloths, T-shirts, shorts, tennis shoes, personal items and approximately $50 per week expense money.
